Tara M. Smalstig
Mrs. Smalstig was born in Greeneville, Tennessee, and graduated from Greeneville High School. In 1998, Mrs. Smalstig graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. She received her law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 2003.
Mrs. Smalstig's professional memberships include the Muncie Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association. Tara and her husband, Scott, reside in Muncie with their two children.
Mrs. Smalstig is a member of the Muncie Children's Museum Board of Directors (2004-present), a member of the Cornerstone for the Arts Board of Directors (2005), a founding member of the Indiana Republican Lawyers Association (2002-present) and President of the Muncie Center for the Arts "Voices" committee (2002-present). She is also a member of the Muncie Altrusa Club.
